The Economic and Trade Office of the Embassy of Spain in Prague, on behalf of ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, organized the first Spain-Czech Republic Investment and Business Cooperation Forum in Prague the 20th, 21st and 22nd of June. Around 20 Spanish companies and over 50 Czech companies participated in this event that was under the auspice of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Czech Republic, supported by the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and sponsored by Aqualia infraestructuras inženýring, s.r.o and COFIDES.
The main goal of this Forum was to provide Czech business people with new opportunities to work with Spanish companies deeply interested in this market, through one-to-one meetings between companies of both countries.
The inauguration counted with the words of the Ambassador of Spain to Czech Republic, Pedro Calvo-Sotelo, the CEO of ICEX, Francisco Javier Garzón, Vladimír Bärtl (Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic), Tomáš Čoček (Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic), and Jaroslav Hanák (president of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic)
